Andermatt Home & Garden are excited to announce a partnership with Joe Bagley to produce a range of houseplant products.
Joe Bagley is known as the 'HousePlant Doctor'. With an engaging Instagram boasting 50k followers, and a website including 300 in-depth articles, there’s very little Joe doesn’t know when it comes to indoor plants. He himself owns a huge collection, from the common to the most exotic, and has worked with the RHS, appeared on Gardeners World and has been a BBC Gardeners' World Live Expert at their yearly flower show.
Joe is just about to release a book, ‘How to Make Your Houseplants Love You’, in a handy question and answer format to answer every question you could think of about houseplants, and is beautifully illustrated.
Andermatt, a pioneer in sustainable gardening since 1988, are teaming up with Joe to curate a sustainable houseplant range with everything plant parents need, from organic feeds to natural pest control.
"We have worked with Joe in curating a range of unique and sustainable houseplant products, from organic, vegan plant feed to biological control solutions, to protect and nurture everyone's indoor green space," says Robbe Di Nardo, Sales Manager at Andermatt Home & Garden. "Our goal is to create a healthier, greener home for all."
We will also be offering talks, where Joe and Andermatt will come to garden centres to talk about houseplants, the houseplant range, answer questions from the audience and participants can get their books signed by Joe. Garden centres will be entitled to a generous offer for stocking the houseplant range and Joe’s new book. The houseplant range features in Joe's plant care advice so are a natural partner to his talks.
Houseplants have really taken off particularly with young people and are very accessible, with everyone able to put a bit of green in their space to improve their mental health. Yet they can feel notoriously tricky to care for, so people have a lot of questions about which ones to buy, and their care.
“I’m elated to work with Andermatt educating the country on the benefits of houseplants and how to address certain issues like pests without the need for chemical pesticides,” says Joe Bagley. “Fighting nature with nature is an important aspect of horticulture and one that’ll only be more prominent as the indoor horticulture industry evolves”.
