The problem

Beekeeping should be enjoyable and stress free, but it can at times be problematic. There are lots of factors to consider and the smoker can be a point of frustration for all bee keepers, professional and hobbyist alike.

Often the smoker can go out just at the point when you need it the most. Then you have a colony of bees that are about to over react defensively with no way to pacify them. This leads to loss of colony control and potentially lots of unwanted stings.

When the bee keeper has lost control of the inspection it is quite difficult to regain it. Perhaps they need to find the queen to split the hive, or they simply need to identify if the colony is queen right. Often it may be better to come back another day to find her.

The solution

This is where Apisolis comes in. Apisolis is automated so turns itself off and on. With just a few puffs of the bellows and no lighting of any fuel, it quickly produces a soothing vapour that replaces the more traditional combustible smoke.

Using a unique blend of essential oils and plant extracts that has been extensively tested on honey bees, the Native liquid vapour in Apisolis is the new alterative to the carcinogenic smoke that smokers produce.

When not in use, Apisolis turns itself off so there is no need to worry about your smoker catching fire from apiary to apiary; another problem solved.
