Size:Small (5 million nematodes for 10 sqm)
Quantity:

MightyNem – Leather Jacket Killer contains the beneficial nematode Steinernema feltiae which infects and kills leather jackets (Tipula sp.).

Sprayed onto grass infested with leather jackets (larvae of crane fly), the nematodes within MightyNem Leather Jacket Killer infect and kill the leather jackets in the soil. Safe for children, pets and wildlife who may use the grass trying to be protected against leather jackets, these beneficial nematodes offer a natural solution to control an increasingly common pest of garden lawns.

When is it best to use?

Best used September to October. The nematode is best used when the young 1st and 2nd stage Leatherjacket larvae are present and near to the soil surface as they are more susceptible to nematode infection.
