MightyNem – Chafer Grub Killer contains the beneficial nematode Heterorhabditis bacteriophora which infects and kills turf chafer grubs (e.g. Phyllopertha horticola).

Sprayed onto grass infested with chafer beetle larvae, the nematodes within MightyNem Chafer Grub Killer infect and kill the grubs in the soil. Safe to children, pets and wildlife who may use the grass trying to be protected against garden chafers, these beneficial nematodes offer a natural solution to control an increasingly common pest of garden lawns.

When is it best to use?

Best used around Mid-July until the end of September. The nematode is best used when the young 1st and 2nd stage beetle larvae are in the soil, this is typically 6 to 8 weeks after the adults have been flying.
